Pure Trading was the second marketplace launched by CNSX Markets Inc., the first new Canadian stock exchange in over 75 years.  CNSX, originally launched in 2003 as a quotation and trade reporting system and fully recognized as a stock exchange in 2004, operates a marketplace that provides listings, trading and market data services for more than 100 issues.  Launched in September, 2007, Pure Trading was the first trading venue in Canada to offer a competing auction market, with a high capacity/low latency trading environment, combined with an extremely attractive fee structure.
